I am formerly known as NZ_History, and I make content and videos about anything related to New Zealand History. I am most active on TikTok, which I have linked below. Like many other New Zealanders, I am extremely proud of our history and what our ancestors managed to accomplish in such a small amount of time. My only goal is to foster patriotism and love for our country and respect the ones who came before, whether it be NZ European or Māori
“Sons of New Zealand,
Lads of the land so free,
Don't you hear the bugle call
Sounding o'er the sea?
The Empire is in danger,
And sorrow may be nigh
Let's show the world
When the flag's unfurled
How to conquer or to die!”
Sons of New Zealand 1915 Stanley East & Raymond Hope
For God, King, and Country
About 140,000 men and women served overseas, 104,000 in the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, the rest in British or New Zealand naval or air forces. In total, 194,000 men and 10,000 women served in the armed forces, and almost 12,000 of them lost their lives.

Maintaining two divisions overseas was a proud achievement for a country the size of New Zealand
